After reading the comic about the copyright, I found that although copyright may sometime become annoying when create new content, such as documentary movie, art, or music, the exist of copyright is still necessary. The advantage of the copyright is to help the owner control the usage of his/her works, but the disadvantage of that is to limit others create new content, because they will worry about the cost or partial loss in work, when touch the content copyrighted incidentally. As a result, the reason why I believe the copyright is necessary is that since the fair use of others’ work is legal, only if people understand and know how to take advantage of the copyright, appropriately fair use, the disadvantage of the copyright can be avoided.
Talking more specifically, there are several aspects that can demonstrate why copyright is important. First of all, the appropriation is one of the most common technic used in the creation of works. Considering the copyright issue, I believe a good appropriation is to criticize, to praise, or to be inspired. An example is that musicians can create new melody based on older works, such as classic music, which is in the public domain, and other musicians’ works, which are need to be permitted. Also, same situation happened on art, book, and even scholarship. Then, on the other hand, the bad appropriation is harmful, for the work created, the creator, and also for the owner of the copyright. When a creator creates a piece of music, or a painting, using others’ works without permission, this new work cannot be publicized, and the creator will be sued, thus decreasing his/her reputation, and the owner of copyright will lose the revenue of work being used.
After discussing the good and bad appropriation, and the effect of them, fair use is another aspect that should be discussed. As mentioned in the comic, people can use other’s work for the purpose of criticism, or personal non-commercial usage. The example of that is student’s citation for class, or reviews about the movie. Although the term of “fair use” seemed vague, but it still defined what behavior is appropriate, when touch other’s copyright. As a contrast of fair use, stealing is the thing that all creators trying to avoid. Although bad appropriation and stealing are hard to differentiate, in my opinion, if someone uses other’s intellective property to make money, this behavior is stealing, and bad appropriation is relatively more unconscious or incidental.
As a conclusion about the copyright issue, first of al, I believe that stealing has to be banned, and should be punished. Unless using other’s work incidentally, directly using other’s work without permission to create, to make money can be described as a crime, which needs to be controlled. Then, appropriation is one important thing for people to create new works. This process can inspire people, let them think and create from a new angle. Therefore, I believe good appropriation is necessary. For the bad appropriation, using other’s work incidentally, the creator should communicate with the owner of the copyright, or use other technic to avoid the existence in his/her work. One problem that the legislation should face is the category of documentary movie, all elements, even though touch other’s copyright, should be saved for the integrity of the work, and it is hard to find everyone who owned the copyright. Since the purpose of documentary movie is to record, not use the unfamiliar copyrighted elements to show, or to create value, in my opinion, there should be law or regulation to solve this diploma, thus help more and more creator record the culture, the current world without hesitation.

Standing on dark green lawn, a couple is taking a photo, as a memory of their close relationship. Wearing a black spotted white dress, the white woman is starring at the camera concentratedly, feeling a little bit nervous. Arm-in-arm with the woman, the black man who wearing a brown suits, white shirt, and with a hat, leans to the woman. Comparing to the classic color, such as white, brown, there's a pink flower putted on the woman's ear. Besides, she holds a bunch of pink flower, at the same side of that flower decorated ear. As a respond to the pink color of the woman, the man wears a ribbon of red, yellow and blue. When the wind blows woman's hair up, the picture becomes more vivid and beautiful. In this special moment, although there's some dark clouds on the backboard of blue sky, the happiness can still be expressed, and received by us, viewers.

It's a cloudy and gloomy day. Sky turns to a color of dark blue, and seems to rain. In the background of the sky and bleary mountain, one couple standing on dark green lawn, facing us, takes a photo for their sweet relationship. Standing on the left, the white woman wears a black spotted white dress, holding a bunch of flowers. Some flowers are red, some are pink, and they are bloomed that we can even smell the aroma. Starring at the camera, she feels nervous. When the wind blows her hair up, she even doesn't notice the flower putted on her ear is going to blowed away. Arm in arm with the woman, the black man wearing a brown suits, white shirt, and a hat leans to his girl, feeling concentrated and happy. There's also a ribbon wearing on the man, and the red, yellow and blue colors make a wonderful respond to the flowers in the woman's hand. Even though the weather is a little bit dark, the happiness of this couple makes themselves bright and this feeling will always be kept, as a photo, and also as a memory.

Explanation:
When I first saw this baby, what I came up to mind is the path of life. Therefore, for the background, I use the scene of universe and undersea. I believe that time is going, and it just likes water, flowing and non-stop. The light shining on the baby means a start of the life. Walking on this colorful path of life, baby grows up and gradually become old. With the responsibilities and the pressures of life becoming heavier and heavier, life goes, and the brightness becomes darker. However, because every end of life means a new start, I leave the end of this path colorful. In order to show the time's going, I put several classic clocks in the universe, tik-tok, and will never stop. At last, at the corner of this scene, an owl, a represent of wisdom and universe, watches this life cycle again and again.

Magazine Review
Talking about the applications of Augmented Reality, the first application I came up with is in the area of marketing. Marketers can use the AR technology to present the final effect of their products. For example, customers can exactly know how their rooms will be from the AR technology. The second application can be used in information presented, in the supermarket or in museums. People can review the information, and even feedback from other customers via the AR technology. Then, when people visit the museum, different pieces' information can be presented and educated to all visitors. As the third application that I came up with, it is an idea of fantasy. Using the AR technology, when people are bored and looking outside during flight, rather than totally dark or clouds, using the AR technology, people can see the sights below the plane, which can dramatically entertain people during their flight experience. Although this is an fantastic idea, I hope it can become true in the future, for making the 10 hours flight more enjoyable.
Final Project: Counter Monument - Virtual Reality
Description
After thinking lots of different ideas, I finally decide to make a tube under the ground between World War 2 Monument and Washington Monument. My idea is that when people review the history of World War 2, comparing to directly see the monument in front of them, it is better to experience a different scenes before visiting the Washington Monument. Therefore, I create a tube from the pond at the World War 2, as the beginning of this special tour. Using the material of glass, people can start enjoying the wonderful weather, but when people go further, the fire comes. The first part of the tube is decorated in fire, which means war leads to the fire and chaos. Going more further through this tube, next part is fulfilled with cherry blossom. As the most famous sight of Washington DC, after experiencing the war, I want to convey the scenery of life, and growing. Then, the winter, full of white snow, every growing should experience the stage of rest and silence, or even depressed. The final part of this tube shows the water. The beginning of this road is full of water, and the last part is the same. Besides, water is the origin of everything, after experiencing different parts, or different situations of this tour, when people surroundings by water, the feeling of calm and peace is what I want to express. At last, going through the blue water, and enjoy the Washington Monument, to understand the road of achievement.
